The Internet Sales Associate is responsible for selling new and used automobiles and accomplishes this by building relationships with customers, understanding their needs and closing sales. Responsible for the full life-cycle of the customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute in creating and maintaining the most positive and energetic Internet Sales Team in Florida.
To create the ultimate buying experience from the moment of online engagement.
Interact with clients through email, text, and video chat.
Build online brand and presence using various social media platform.
Understand and maintain current knowledge of automobiles sold by the dealership by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
Build relationships with new potential customers and develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
Qualify buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
Maintain contact information and follow up information on all sales leads and customers in the database
Build book of business by making calls, sending emails, etc. and meet marketing expectations
Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile.
Provide sales management information by completing reports.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in web-based training.
Enhance dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Skills, Abilities & Competencies:
Must be self-motivated and take initiative; have technical ability, analytical ability, and decisive judgment
Must have a positive and supportive attitude
Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a strong work ethic.
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and be able to successfully complete web-based training
Effective oral and written communication including ability to communicate with individuals in person, over the phone and electronically.
Ability to make repeated calls to clients on a continual basis
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be able to present a professional image including communication skills and appropriate demeanor with customers and team member
Must be able to remain at or above store averages for sales and marketing metrics, CSI surveys and online reviews.
Must have valid driver’s license and be able to be approved by company insurance carrier
Education & Experience:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear, as well as speak on the telephone for extended periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Employee must be able to work inside and outside in a variety of temperatures and humidity levels. Employee must be able to regularly demonstrate and drive automobiles.
