The Digital Learning Analyst II leads, designs, and develops learning and instructional materials using ADDIE or another instructional design model.
The Digital Learning Analyst II will be responsible for learning needs analysis, design, scripting, development, review, testing, implementation and evaluation of training materials, ensuring that they complement the overall learning strategy.
The role collaborates closely with different leaders in Corporate, Servicing, Sales, and the other key groups, as well as subject matter experts, management and other parts of the business.
Partners with subject matter experts and senior leadership to perform learning needs analysis, define KPIs, and identify learning objectives.
Creates storyboards to collaborate and collect feedback from SMEs and designs innovative learning solutions.
Uses cutting edge technology and publishing tools to create eLearning and videos. Collaborates with Learning Specialists to develop instructor-led trainings and implements blended learning solutions.
Evaluates the outcomes and business impact of learning solutions relative to Mr. Cooper’s strategic and organizational goals
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Consults with subject matter experts and various levels of management within the lines of business to analyze learning needs as well as identify any deficiencies in knowledge, skills, attitudes, or competencies required to perform job related tasks effectively.
Manages the instructional design process from needs analysis through evaluation.
Drives ongoing learning needs analysis, design, scripting, development, assessment, implementation and evaluation of learning solutions to ensure alignment with business strategy.
Creates content that meets clearly defined objectives and competency requirements.
Develops content outlines, scripts, and detailed storyboards for modules.
Designs innovative learning solutions incorporating multiple formats and relavent adult learning activities, including experiential, eLearning, simulations, blended learning, and virtual classrooms.
Creates performance support materials, such as job aids, storyboards for micro-learning videos, and other materials.
Applies ADDIE/other instructional design model to produce interactive, engaging and relevant content. Applies effective methods for different learning styles and aptitudes. Works cross-functionally with Learning Specialists to apply a variety of learning techniques to determine appropriate media for coursework.
Planning and Implementing Training Assignments – Tests functionality of eLearning and microlearning content in pilot region of LMS prior to implementation. Ensures content is free of technical errors or glitches.
Gathers user information for implementation training assignments in LMS.
Analyze and Evaluate Results – Strategically evaluates learning programs and process for their overall effectiveness by developing and supporting key indicators that measure the value of learning solutions in terms of performance improvement and behavior change.
Reviews survey data and makes recommendations for improvements.
Administration – Organizes and maintains digital content in shared location. Collaborates with LMS team for publication of digital content. Meets and follows-up with the business on key projects/priorities.
Provides expertise on new learning approaches, technology and tools through continuous research to ensure solutions meet or exceed industry learning standards and deliver innovation.
Attention to detail in designing, producing, writing, and proofing all coursework materials to ensure consistency in form, format, and function.
Experience working independently, pro-actively completing projects, communicating with informal and formal subject-matters experts, and making recommendations for improvements with training strategies.
Proven project management, time management, communication and organizational skills.
Experience with medium-large scale projects/initiative.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
1-2 years of experience in Learning & Development
3-5 years of experience with designing enterprise-wide projects and eLearning authoring tools (SnagIt, Vyond, Camtasia, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud)
Advanced design, development, and evaluation skills.
Knowledge to ADDIE/applied adult learning theory, instructional design, learning measurement, learning management systems, and organizational development strategies.
Ability to consult with different levels of leadership and design/create dynamic content that incorporates engaging design elements and effective learning principles for an optimum learning experience.
Virtual learning program experience preferred.
ATD Instructional Design and Adobe Captive or equivalent certificate preferred.
