Job Description

The client team seeks a talented Web Developer and Designer to help enhance and support the firm's marketing projects. This is a multi-tiered role that encompasses back-end development, server-side support, and front-end/client-side code. is responsive and uses the Foundation framework with ASP .NET so expert front-end and back-end development skills combined with a focus on user experience are essential.

The ideal candidate has a strong focus on responsive design and writing reusable, testable, efficient code as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a goal of high quality customer experience. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage multiple concurrent priorities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Website Development and Support
    • Lead, create and maintain all server side technologies including .NET framework, SQL Server, Object Oriented Design and C# development
    • Lead, create and maintain all front-end/client-side technologies including responsive website design, HTML 5, Advanced CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, XML
    • Develop new features and optimize the site’s code with a concentration on performance, re-use and responsive design while using W3C standards
    • Develop and support API integrations utilizing both SOAP and RESTFUL APIs
    • Ongoing website maintenance and operations support
      • Respond to production issues and remediate defects to maintain the team’s SLA’s
      • Continuously improve our site’s user experience, responsive design, SEO rankings and page speed through the use of monitoring tools and analytics reports
      • Development and support of service applications and site data maintenance processes.
      • Support site testing, automation, deployments and asset distributions to our CDN (Akamai)
      • Ensure website compatibility across all major browsers
  • Marketing Automation and Analytics
    • Support web activity tracking and digital marketing analytics
    • Google Integration Support
      • Create and update integrations with Google Analytics
      • Manage Google site search and webmaster tools
  • Content Management
    • Provide development and operational support of the Content Management System utilized by the website

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge (5 - 7 years of experience) of JavaScript and JQuery including the ability to extend JavaScript frameworks and develop complex UI components
  • Advanced knowledge of web markup, including HTML5, Advanced CSS is essential
  • Experienced with .NET 4.5+, Object Oriented Design, C# and SQL Server
  • Proficient in support a Content Management System (CMS), experience with Cascade CMS is a plus. 
  • Proficient in supporting JSON and XML
  • Experienced with responsive and mobile-first design
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Ability to leverage CDN technology to optimize front end performance
  • Experience with marketing automation integrations for activity reporting is desired
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot APIs is a plus
  • Experience with New Relic APM is a plus
