Job Description Job Title: Human Resources Director



  • The ideal candidate would be project and task-based, over time clock based.

  • Professional who is able and willing to work 300 days per year, can manage their time and time off impeccably well.  Dedication will be compensated.


Essential Functions:

  • Develop and staff an HR department that supports the company's culture and an operational team whose main objective is to build a team that executes an operating plan to the point of profitability by building mutually beneficial relationships.

  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to the company’s strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.

  • Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.

    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

    • Effectively builds and develops the best overall benefits package in the industry.

  • Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.

    • Develops, establishes and maintains recruiting, hiring, developing, rewarding, and disciplinary standards that coincide with the company’s culture and expectations.

    • Work with management to build career paths for employees, identifying opportunities for training, new skill acquisition, and advancement.

    • Partner with leaders to define and implement ongoing development for leaders at all levels of the organization.

  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


  • Preferred, A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Master’s Degree a plus specializing in HR, Organizational Development, Administration or related disciplines.


  • Desired, Prior HR experience in QSR industry with an organization of 200+ employees.

  • Previous knowledge of delivery fleets

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources Management, with direct experience in one or more of the following: Talent Management, Employee Relations, and Organizational Development.

  • Excellent leadership, oral and written communications, planning and effective decision-making skills.

  • Experience building and leading teams with an emphasis on coaching and developing others.

  • Outstanding professional presence; ability to develop rapport and credibility quickly at all levels through relationship building, functional expertise and consulting skills.
