The maintenance technician position requires knowledge of a large technical scope. This includes, but is not limited to conveyors, mixing and molding equipment, proofing equipment, ovens and cookers, packaging machines, etc.
Maintenance Technicians are responsible to ensure the proper functioning of the production equipment by using quick in-depth troubleshooting and preventive maintenance while maintaining the highest safety, quality, GMP standards.
Properly troubleshoot and repair all equipment installed in the production and packaging areas as well as dry and fresh room storage and freezer.
Implement preventive maintenance programs on the equipment.
Make all necessary machinery and equipment adjustments.
Perform all tasks and duties necessary for efficient start-ups, daily operation, change-over and shut-downs.
Participate to the installation of new machinery.

Minimum high school diploma with preference for associates degree in electrical, industrial/mechanical technology
4+ years industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in a packaging manufacturing environment
Experience in troubleshooting industrial machinery.
Must have computer skills (MS office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to communicate with production operators and other maintenance technicians to communicate mechanical processes and root causes
Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company
Ability to work various shifts or weekends if required
