As we continue to grow, we are in search of an Operations Systems Manager for our team. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating processes and activities related to the development, delivery and integration of software programs, applications, third-party solutions and supporting procedures to meet Operational requirements. Applies proven technical, communications and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the Operations department on issues related to the design, development, integration and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems/applications. Supervises and maintains the organization’s repository of Operations software applications and their integrations through best practices and oversight.

As a successful Operations Systems Manager, you will:

  • Act as subject matter expert on existing RHP proprietary systems
  • Works with Chief Operating Officer to understand operational needs and translate into technical solutions
  • Collaborates with Chief Information Officer and RHP programmers to explore feasibility of new initiatives and effectively assist with project management
  • Research and propose new technologies to improve operational efficiency
  • Analyze workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
  • Manage integration projects through developing, coordinating and evaluating project plans including budget management
  • Analyze, document, configure and test new applications and operational tools; identify and implement improvements to existing systems
  • Develop and maintain standards for system architecture
  • Identify any technical obstacles and manage troubleshooting efforts
  • Organize and track project plans and documents
  • Perform business analyses and scope preparation for new applications or third-party solutions
  • Create and implement procedures and manuals
  • Partner with Operations and IT and other cross functional teams in identifying and implementing improvements in current workflows and processes that can help improve efficiency and data management
  • Manage new product implementations
  • Set up and/or improve reporting capability
  • Other projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field
  • 5+ years project management experience managing technical projects and solutions
  • PMP certification a plus, or other training in project and task management methodologies
  • Expert knowledge of project and task management, and quality assurance processes and technologies
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure and web/database servers, as well as development languages PHP and JavaScript helpful
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with translating technical concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
