Job Description

General Sales Manager

 

Rare Opportunity! Toyota Dealership in Morristown is seeking a General Sales Manager to lead our high volume sales team. This is a President’s Award winning store with outstanding CSI. Are you the leader who can take us to the next level? Reporting directly to the Owner/GM, the GSM is responsible for the overall success and profitability of the New, Used, Finance, and Internet departments. Hire, Train, Motivate, and Manage all Sales personnel, including Sales Desk, and Finance Managers. Negotiate, close, and desk deals, manage advertising, and marketing, and acquire and manage new and used inventory. Work within, and enforce, company and dealership policies and pertinent laws, and team with the other Department Managers to ensure effective dealership operations.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM of five years of high volume GSM experience in a new car dealership.

Prior track record of growing sales and profits in a successful, high volume store.

Must have strong knowledge of vAuto, and other automotive software.

Prefer Toyota, or other import franchise experience.

Corporate hiring requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, able to pass pre-employment criminal background check, and drug screening.
