Our client is in need of an Accounting Clerk!
Accounting Clerk Duties will include:
- Review invoices, make copies of invoices and send to appropriate departments for approval
- Match invoices and determine account coding
- Input all vendor invoices in system
- Select invoices for payment
- Prepare check voucher and submit for approvals
- Reconcile vendor accounts
- Receive cash items
- Post and reconcile payments to ledger
- Balances daily batches and reports
- Review credit balances and reports
- Filing, faxing, photo copying, and other accounting support functions as assigned
Accounting Clerk Requirements:
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- knowledge of relevant accounting software
- proficient in data entry and data management
- attention to detail
- Sound judgment and confidentiality
