Job Description

Bilingual Human Resources Assistant

Established yet progressive & rapidly growing west suburban manufacturing company is seeking a qualified candidate for a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant.  

Bilingual in Spanish and at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources and Payroll is required. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work independently is necessary. This is a full-time position - Monday through Friday. 

Duties (responsibilities include but are not limited to) 

• Update demographic information for all employees in Global Shop, Paylocity and Principal. 
• Conduct phone interviews and schedule face to face interviews and prepare offer letters and set up preliminary testing for all new hires. 
• Create all new hire packets, conduct new hire orientation, set up new hire in Global Shop and Paylocity. 
• Assist with all benefits for all employees and help employees complete paperwork and process with broker.
• Back up to payroll, print paystubs, employee verifications. 
• Set up temporary employees in Global Shop. 
• Assist in processing terminations, process all vacation requests,  assist with workers compensation claims.
• Assist Human Resources Manager and Staff Accountant in all HR, Payroll, Benefit and Accounting related items. 
• Scan and upload AP invoices into DocuWare
• Check payment status on AR accounts
• Stamp AP invoices as processed in DocuWare
• Assist in billing

Job Requirements

  • Must have 2 years of Human Resources and Payroll experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Organized
  • Trust worthy
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Proficient in standard computer use of Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
