Job Description

Direct Care Worker - All Boroughs 

The Direct Care Worker provides individuals with developmental disabilities with skills for independent living  within residences or in home setting.

Fulltime and Part time work currently available paying at $11 an hour. (See schedules below)

  • FT- 8 hrs shifts, 7 days a week =  7a-3p, 3p -11p, 11p - 7a

  • PT - 4- 6 hour shifts, Monday - Friday in the evening  from 4p- 10p. Weekend hours vary

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:Assist individual as needed, in activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation and socialization

Ensure individuals nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diet, and assist with feedingAssist in maintaining individuals hygiene as well as keeping a clean and safe environment

Report immediately any observed/known deficiencies or inability as well as all types of abuse and other facility problems


HS Diploma or GED required

One year's experience providing direct services

Certifications: AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid a Plus

Bilingual a Plus
