Customer Service Representative

Here at TRIBE, Customer service is our priority. Our Customer service representative builds and ensures lasting customer relationships to maximize freight opportunities and support on-time and accurate delivery of customer orders to meet and exceed our customer satisfaction requirements.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Accurately entering all customer orders into the Transportation Management system.
  • Assist in setting up pick-up and delivery appointments.
  • Understand and execute all customer requirements for freight temperatures and handling.
  • Update pertinent information in real-time.
  • Serve as a backup for Customer Service Representatives.
  • Maintain a clear record of customer details including current contract rates, contacts and any other pertinent information.

  •  Build and maintain positive business relationship with current customers and create strong customer relationships when assigned new customers by supervisor

  • Promote services and products of the company to customers

  • Coordinate sales efforts with planners and other customer service representatives/national account managers

  • Accept / reject freight based on truck needs and seasonality


Customer Service Representative

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year Customer Service Experience desired.
  • TMW Knowledge desired.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Excellent organization, relationship building, and planning skills.
  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment preferred.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience in sales or transportation is a must
  • Ability to negotiate rates comfortably with customers via phone and email
  • Monitor bid boards and capitalize on opportunities for available trucks
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals for the company set by supervisors
  • Strong computer skills
  • Competency in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to multi-task
