Our client is a Midwest-based nimble-footed manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels serving food, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets. Recent capital investments have opened the door to growth to complement the solid business base. On their behalf, we seek a Sales Representative who will inherit a modest customer base in the central Midwest together with a trove of new business opportunities. With a solid foundation in relationship building, this Sales Representative relishes opening doors – a true ‘hunter’ – with enticing commissions on sales growth through expanding the customer base whether in existing channels or through new markets. A self-starter, this executive bristles at micro-managing – preferring instead the freedom of innovation to generate growth in new markets. A nose for market expansion with a strong track record of sales growth is key. Familiarity with packaging materials – ideally pressure sensitive labels - to food and pharmaceutical processors is preferred.

Critical requirements for this Sales Representative are:
-- A solid history of prospecting to expand the customer base;
-- Skilled in listening - to discern opportunities for growth through innovative product applications in new markets, whether within existing accounts or through new ones;
-- Thorough grounding in technical product applications to craft unique solutions to customer needs;
-- Proven ability to manage a territory through the crafting of a solid business development/sales plan, with a history of regularly exceeding expectations;
