Work schedule: 2nd shift
Your work duties as a mechanic:
Maintain, inspect and repair all diesel fleet equipment and vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems (utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable).
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workshop.
Communicate status of all repairs/work in progress to your coworkers and manager.
Interact professionally with customers and drivers - showcase your great teamwork and communication skills!

What we require from our mechanics:
5 years of practical experience with tractor-trailer maintenance required.
Vocational/Technical or certification preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of DOT and Safety regulations and requirements.
Current CDL license with air brake certification preferred, willingness to acquire CDL if you do not have one.
Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
Must have own tools.
Welding experience a plus.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
The ability to lift, push or pull 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
