AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Line cooks are responsible for cooking the food on their stations and sliding to other stations to help as necessary, working together as part of a team. They will also be responsible for cleaning their stations, doing whatever prep is necessary for their stations, and helping wherever else they are needed. Line cooks report to the lead cooks.
Prep cooks are responsible for doing all of the prep including soups, sauces, dressings, shredding cheese, cutting vegetables, slicing and shaving meats, cooking meats, and portioning. They will also need to help with dishes if necessary and maintain the cleanliness of the prep area, the cooler, the dry storage, and the prep equipment.
