The Qualified Mental Health Specialist will receive a $1,000 sign on bonus.

Primary responsibilities:

Provide individual and group behavioral health services for youth.

Provide services in schools, homes and community settings.

Create and maintain Individual Treatment Plans with clients and their families.

Link clients with community resources and effectively collaborate with school or community professionals.

Degree Required: Bachelors degree in social work or related field

(CFI) directly served 12,827 children, families and adults in FY 2016.  Celebrating forty years this year, our private, not-for-profit 501c(3) agency, its 320 staff, 947 volunteers and 35 foster families help provide a broad range of early learning, mental health and foster care services.

With an agency budget of over $16 million dollars, the spectrum of services includes outpatient individual, family and group therapy, diagnostic testing, psychiatric services, partial hospitalization, mental health prevention and treatment services in schools, mobile crisis, management of a county-wide 24-hour crisis hotline (528-SAVE), parenting education and support, foster care, independent living and Life Skills preparation, family stability, Head Start and early learning programs for children ages prenatal to Kindergarten, before and after school programs for K-5, community programs and professional training.

CFI provides these services in over 90 schools, pediatric and FQHC offices, juvenile court, Job and Family Services, other community locations and in hundreds of homes in 16 southwest and southeast Ohio communities including Clermont, Brown, Butler, Hamilton, Adams, Highland, Clinton and Warren counties.   In addition to serving the Greater Cincinnati area, Child Focus community programs and trainings, including school violence and bullying prevention, reach tri-state and national markets.
