Primary Function: 

They greet the public through face-to-face and phone contact to make them feel welcomed and comfortable and to serve as a resource to direct their questions. The receptionist is the first and last person to be in contact with members. The impression created by the receptionist is very important; it strongly influences how members feel about Kings Federal Credit Union.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


  • Comply with all Credit Union policies and procedures.

  • Answer phone promptly and courteously

  • Direct calls to the appropriate department or credit union personnel

  • Greet the public, members and vendors

  • Act as a resource for general questions and information

  • Pick up credit union mail from the post office, daily

  • Process Verifications of Deposit received via fax and the mail

  • Maintain various logs; loan funding’s, payoffs, disbursement of loan applications, cash out mailings, etc.

  • Pre audit loans packets, communicate with auto dealerships, fund and track CUDL/Dealer Referral loans.

  • Monitor lobby, sign-ins, as well as notifying the appropriate department when appointments have arrived

  • Schedule loan appointments

  • Process all mail payments and deposits

  • May perform other duties as assigned or requested


  • High School Graduate and a minimum of 2 years related experience

  • Reliability – must be prompt and consistent in their performance

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Pleasant voice

  • Ability to be flexible, handle more than one task at the same time

  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Microsoft office, Internet)

  • Team Player

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift or carry 25 pounds.
  • Sitting for a long period of times using the computer.
  • Occasional bending and stooping.
