POSITION/JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager DEPARTMENT: Operations
STATUS: Exempt REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel. Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; writes and places advertisements, reviews resumes, interviews, extend offers, conduct background checks. Manages trainer.
Handles employee relations counseling and training, conducts disciplinary meetings, handles terminations, and conducts exit interviewing.
Coaches managers of all levels on how to properly handle employee relations matters and employee concerns.
Administers performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
Works closely with broker to administer benefits, communicate plans to employees, and coordinate annual open enrollment.
Process Bi-Weekly payroll for employees using Paychex payroll system.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Third party collection HR experience or related HR required
A bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience
SHRM certified preferred
