Job Responsibilities for the Accounting Clerk:
The accounting clerk will be responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors and other managers within the company.
- Perform general accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
- Compile and sort invoices and checks.
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger.
- Record charges and refunds.
- Input vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports and other records.
- File and tally deposits.
- Match invoices to work orders.
- Process bills for payments.
- Support all AP and AR functions.
Specific requirements for this Accounting Clerk position include:
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer and data entry skills
- The accounting clerk should have recent experience with EXCEL
