Job Opening for: Restaurant Shift Leader
We have a number of well-know and popular Restaurants and have some positions open for Shift Leaders. We have been in business over 50 years here in Southern California. We offer our staff a positive work environment and a good Benefit Package.
Locations open: Ontario
Vacation 1 week the first 4 years then 2 weeks

A Shift Leader main duty is to help the Store Leader to run the operations of the store.
Policies & Procedures:
Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Ensures compliance of employees with established sanitation, security, safety, sales, and recordkeeping procedures and practices. Inspect food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
Opening & Closing Procedures:
Proper food rotation (FIFO) , Checking food order (Dates & Quality) Taking proper Inventory nightly, weekly, & End of the Month Monitoring waste and proper Logging of wasted food items, Placing the food order Communicating food, service and employee’s issues to Area Leader
Staff Hours/ Breaks etc.
Providing meal breaks before the 5 hours, allowing employees to take their paid breaks Make sure we have Associates working during service peak hours Opens, Locks and secures store.
Coordinates activities of Food Service Agents and Cashiers at multiple stations. Make sure all Associates are friendly and courteous to guest and co-workers follow the “Smile" Associate training packet. Answers customer's complaints or inquiries. Make sure food is at our companies High Quality Food Standards Make sure Food is stored at proper holding temperatures (Hot or Cold) Make sure cooks are following all company Recipes and re-heating procedures
Makes sure all Cashiers are following Cash Handling Procedures Management Team following Cash Handling Procedures: Counting Petty Cash Safe, Verifying Cashier Daly sales Using Daily Safe Log , Garda Pick Ups and Log Book , Ordering Change from the Bank
Safety & Sanitation:Make sure all Associates are following Safety & Sanitation Practices, make sure all staff has current Food Handlers Cards, make sure all staff is Wearing “NON- SLIP SHOES" Make sure all staff is wearing proper safety gear, making sure we are cleaning: Equipment (cooking equipment, food holding equipment & Building)
Must be able to pass a Background Check
