ABOUT THE COMPANY:

  • Our client is a company south of Dayton that boasts of a fun, casual and friendly work environment. Be a part of a team that truly cares about each other.  They are looking for a high energy, take initiative PURCHASING CLERK!

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE OF PURCHASING CLERK:

  • The purchasing clerk will create purchase orders from requisitions.
  • Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
  • Data entry and filing paperwork
  • The purchasing clerk will prepares purchase orders or bid requests.
  • Issues purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery date, quantity ordered and price are correct.
  • The purchasing clerk will maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories
  • Some admin to include answering and routing phone calls, greet visitors, filing, etc.


QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PURCHASING CLERK:

  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • 3 years experience in a business office
  • HS Diploma
  • High energy personality
  • Critical thinking skills
  • "Can do" attitude
