Phoebe Wyncote, a premier provider of rehabilitative services to older adults, is seeking compassionate, caring Certified Nursing Assistants with long-term care experience who are interested in joining our dedicated nursing team that provide the excellent quality of care that Phoebe is known for.
We have part time positions available for All Shifts
There is an every other weekend and holiday rotation requirement.
PLEASE NOTE: All applicants must have at least one year CNA experience to be considered.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administers prescribed medications and perform simple treatments.
- Checks medications for expiration dates and reorders medications when supply is low.
- Assesses resident’s physical, medical and emotional needs.
- Reports pertinent information to the charge nurse. Responds to inquiries and requests from residents, staff, family members, etc.

Perform all functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
Ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment. Follows standard/universal precautions.
Demonstrates the ability to meet established behavioral expectations outlined in
the Performance Coaching process.
Maintains awareness of individual responsibilities under the established Fire Safety/Disaster plan.
Ensures the confidentiality of all resident- and/or employee-related information. Attends all mandatory in-service training programs and required meetings. Takes an active role in performance improvement studies, focus groups, etc.
Assists with orienting residents and their families to Phoebe Wyncote upon admission or transfer to their neighborhood.
Must be able to use principles of good body mechanics in lifting, moving, and transporting residents.
Communicates and interacts effectively with residents who have Dementia.
Provides individualized care to residents according to the resident's care plan such as feeding, bathing, dressing, taking vital signs, etc.
Observes for changes in the resident's condition or behavior and reports these to the charge nurse immediately.
Provides care that maintains the residents’ skin integrity such as changing incontinent residents, turning and
re-positioning residents in bed etc. Observes for changes in skin integrity, especially injuries of unknown origin and reports these to the Charge Nurse immediately. Answers resident call bells regardless of who is the primary aide. Collect specimens as requested by licensed personnel.
Documents accurately each shift using Care Tracker.
Attends all mandatory in-service training programs and required meetings and attends monthly Nursing Assistant meetings.
Embraces Faith in Action values and behaviors and treats coworkers, residents, and visitors in a pleasant, professional, and respectful manner.
