Position: IT Manager
Reports To: CFO
FLSA Status: Exempt
The IT Manager is responsible for the effective operation and development of the company’s information technology infrastructure and staff. The role requires proactive support of the department’s group goals, as well as the company’s corporate goals, objectives and strategies. The work requires advanced information technology skills, exceptional customer service, business-level communication skills, and travel will be required. Solid project management and staff management skills are also required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Interview, hire, train, and lead IT staff.
o Formulate and recommend key system strategies.
o Establish, maintain and enforce Corporate IT policies and procedures.
o Oversee the 24x7 operation of all network infrastructure/services including but not limited to, data networks, voice networks, storage area networks, data center disaster recovery, backup & restoration processes, etc.
o Create and/or assist the Chief Financial Officer in developing long-term strategic plans departmental policies and procedures and departmental budget
o Create and submit core-IT system proposals. Periodically review and analyze existing systems and make recommendations for system enhancements.
o Assist Company personnel with IT project proposals and project management.
o Ensure that change management is performed effectively, including system testing by IT personnel, end-user training/orientation, end-user acceptance testing, etc.
o Negotiate and contract with consultants and vendors for services and products.
o Monitor network and system stability. Diagnose and resolve issues that may affect the efficient operation of Company systems.
o Control network/system access and maintain security.
o Conduct meetings with decision makers, systems owners and end-users to define business, financial, and operational requirements including the identification of on-going system management issues.
o Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans for mission-critical systems.
o Ensure that IT personnel perform ethically, responsibly and effectively.
o Other projects and duties as assigned.

o Experience in assessing technical and business needs and making recommendations for resources required to maintain and expand service levels.
o Experience in delivering and supporting systems and services to end users.
o Ability to handle urgent and crisis situations in a methodical and analytical manner.
o Proven project management skills including the ability to concurrently handle multiple simultaneous complex projects.
o Technical experience in data center operations, Microsoft server, messaging, and database technologies; network communications including Wide Area Network (WAN), Storage Area Network (SAN), wireless, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and other related technologies.
o Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent; 10 or more years of IT administration/management experience in a complex networked environment, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Must have a valid driver's license
