Job Description

Turnaround Administrative Assistant needed in Norco, LA

The Turnaround Administrative Assistant will:

  • Log, track cost, and issue AWR (Additional Work Request) and IWR (Inspection Work Request).
  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly turnaround progress.
  • Compile and verify turnaround data for the site including, but not limited to, cost, estimation, man hours, and schedule for daily turnaround management meetings.
  • Develop and maintain the project collaboration site (SharePoint) for turnaround and project work.
  • Generate reports consisting of charts and graphs for both the turnaround and maintenance groups.
  • Assist in the preparation of execution packages for the turnaround planning department.
  • Update changes to turnaround work process documents and organizational charts.
  • Schedule meetings in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Assist with additional general administrative duties as directed.

Job Requirements

The ideal Turnaround Administrative Assistant will have:

  • One or more year of administrative or clerical experience.
  • One or more year of experience in the Oil & Gas industry (preferred).
  • Proficiency in the following programs:

-Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)

-Windows Vista



  • Able to maintain confidentiality about information and documentation.
  • Must be a self-starter, punctual, and articulate with strong etiquette skills for talking on phone and using email.
  • Must be committed to details and accuracy.
