Shelter Coordinator - Domestic Violence Program


You’ll make a direct impact in the lives of children, families and adults with social and behavioral health needs, while enjoying the truly exceptional benefits of one of Connecticut’s premier private, nonprofit behavioral health centers.

And our offices are located in small town and rural settings throughout Connecticut’s “Quiet Corner" within easy commuting distance from New London, CT, Worcester, MA and Providence, RI.


Shelter Coordinator– Domestic Violence Program (DVP)

Description:
Work in a team environment providing supervision to staff and volunteers, site maintenance oversight, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, safety planning, advocacy, shelter and hotline coverage.  Assist in service planning, development, reporting, and quality improvement activities.
If you have domestic violence knowledge, supervisory experience and the passion and investment in ending violence in our communities, please consider becoming part of our team.   Domestic Violence Program: DVP offers services to anyone who is a victim of domestic abuse and provides a diverse array of services including 24/7 emergency shelter, court advocacy assistance, referral and information services, support groups and counseling, case management, recreation, bilingual staff, educational programs for schools and training for professionals throughout Northeastern Connecticut.

Schedule:   Sunday, Monday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. May also include flexing and some holidays.

Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree plus two years relevant experience, or Associates Degree plus four years relevant experience required. 


Salary Range: $36,566 - $41,372
