Sales Manager, Retail Tire and Automotive Service Center

Position Overview

We currently have an opening for a Sales Manager in the Colorado Springs metro area. This is a full-time position (50+ hours/week). The right person for the job has a service background in the automotive industry, a balance of sales skills and business acumen, is highly committed to delivering the best service experience to customers, and can meet the position requirements listed below. 


As a Sales Manager for a Big O Tires Service Center, you will spend the majority of your day working directly with our customers advising them on their vehicle's tire and automotive service needs, and managing staff and operations. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires the ability to multi-task, and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with superb customer service and communication skills. The position focus is on enhancing the customer experience, building loyalty, and maximizing sales.

Position Requirements 

Qualified candidates must have:

             High school diploma or GED 

             Valid driver's license


Experience and Knowledge:  

             1-2 years successful retail sales experience required

             Automotive industry experience strongly preferred

             Technical knowledge of retail tire and automotive services preferred

             Business management experience preferred (could include retail operations, training, sales and marketing, finance and accounting)



             Outstanding customer service skills 

             Consultative sales skills

             Strong time management, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication skills 

             Business acumen 

             Basic computer skills and MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel

             Self-starter, motivated, results-driven, accountable

             Resourceful, flexible

             Team player
