They serve a global customer base of fire departments, military installations, institutions, corporate organizations and training companies from multiple offices around the world. The Sewing Operator reports directly to department supervisor. Operator will be performing assembly construction task of protective related apparel which meets customer specifications and expectations.
Ability to utilize related equipment to assemble apparel, meeting expected quality standards. Must comprehend and understand product specifications, and an understanding of assembly requirements. Duties will include ability to understand stitch formation and pattern fit for proper construction. Operator will understand how thread, findings and trim is applied in the operation to meet specifications. A basic understanding of equipment to properly maintain (oil, cleaning, etc.) Physical abilities: sitting, lifting no more than 10-20 pounds, twisting at the waist.
All other related responsibilities as established by supervisor.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
Prefer High School Diploma or GED.
