A candidate for our Litigation Legal Assistant position must be highly organized, able to maintain files with updated and accurate information, manage a wide variety of concurrent tasks, meet deadlines and be able to effectively communicate with a diverse selection of people, including clients, attorneys, and vendors.

Applicants should bring a positive attitude, be a motivated self-starter, be productive and engaged, and must be 100% committed to providing top-notch service to our clients.

Our clients come to us after a very bad day. They deserve patience, empathy, and kindness. This position isn’t always easy, but it is rewarding. You are the voice of our firm and your interactions with our clients play a vital role in their satisfaction, which means our success depends on you.


Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Commitment to providing smart, friendly, quality service to our clients

  • Regular & timely communication with clients, attorneys, and medical providers

  • Strong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail oriented

  • Able to work at a fast pace on a heavy case volume

     

Job Requirements

    • Previous legal experience a plus

    • Previous Litigation and Mass Tort experience preferred

    • Proficient PC experience with MS Office products.

    • Ability to prioritize job responsibilities to accommodate an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

    • Requesting all documents: medical records, bills, insurance information etc.

    • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail

    • Assertive, self-starter.

    • Strong organization and communication skills.

    • Proven effective customer service skills

    • Previous experience with Needles legal services software program a plus

    • Previous experience with Docuware a plus
