GREAT TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY - NEEDED ASAP!!

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, in Chesapeake is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to assist with in their busy department.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all maintenance and repair issues for locations in assigned area
  • Answer calls to provide guidance for problems/issues and enter into database or work order system
  • Reviewing leases prior to dispatching work orders for service
  • Handle routine inquiries on basic facility needs
  • Create and assign work orders to vendors
  • Monitor expenditures on repair services
  • Run weekly reports
  • Communicate with landlords and vendors as needed
  • Complete aged report and follow up for resolutions
  • Review invoices for performed work and facilitate approval process

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must be PROFICIENT in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be very organized with strong multi-tasking skills
  • High level of dependability
  • Proven attendance record
  • Basic knowledge of construction, electrical, HVAC helpful
