Job Description

Sales Development & Administrative Support, Part-Time

3PLR provides supply chain logistics consulting and recruiting services to manufacturers, distributors and 3PLs. It offers consulting services when there’s a need for short-term resources with a high level of expertise and offers recruiting services for companies who need to add full-time employees or temporary managers with the right combination of skills, cost and experience. We formalized the recruiting service in 2011 and recently expanded it beyond our consulting base. Results clearly tell us that this service has great growth potential, and we need to add people to achieve it. 3PLR seeks to hire a part-time resource for Sales Development and Administrative Support, working in our Waukesha office, located near the intersection of Interstate 94 and Highway F. This resource with participate in direct sales, marketing and administration. Work hours are flexible. We need someone dedicated at least part-time every week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with prospective clients and setup business development calls and meetings.
  • Articulate company service offerings and value proposition.
  • Offer feedback from sales development and ideas for effective sales promotion and direct marketing.
  • Update business development, job and candidate tracking systems.
  • Direct inquiries to assigned consultants for proposal.
  • Communicate with clients, consultants and candidates to organize interviews and schedules.

Job Requirements

  • Outgoing personality who is not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to strangers.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor with experience in business-to-business communications.
  • Ability to articulate services and gain access to management decision-makers.
  • Prior experience with inside sales of professional business-to-business services.
  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics is preferred.
  • Motivation to earn bonuses by performance.
  • Solid organizational skills for dealing with many clients, leads and projects.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as PowerPoint.
