OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate for the Franchise Business Consultant position will be a passionate, business-minded professional who can initiate and cultivate supportive relationships with our franchisees.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will display outstanding leadership skills; provide coaching, direction, drive sales and ensure operational compliance while building a strong relationship with assigned franchisees to improve their restaurant operations, local store marketing execution and long-term profitability.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  1. Execute the company’s strategic plan and enforce marketing and operational performance standards.
  2. Be knowledgeable on the franchise disclosure document (FDD) to uphold and enforce all requirements.
  3. Conduct operational and marketing evaluations, to include assisting franchisees in identifying business opportunities and finding solutions to sales and operational shortcomings.
  4. Craft location-specific business plans for all assigned locations and update annually.
  5. Regularly contact all assigned franchisees to review sales, marketing, service standards, product quality, training and safety, and new location opportunities.
  6. Sell assigned franchisees on the importance of participating in both national promotions and other promotions as available.
  7. Ensure that all franchisees have a working knowledge of, and are utilizing, the marketing tools available to them.
  8. Sell assigned franchisees on using current technology in their business and demonstrate a working knowledge of each, with the ability to troubleshoot basic operational questions.  This includes:
    1. SpeedLine point-of-sale system
    2. Quikorder online ordering system
    3. Punchh loyalty program
    4. The Informant online training portal
    5. Action Card customer service/site inspection app
    6. Other systems as introduced
  9. Effectively communicate changes in the company’s procedures.
  10. Prevent store closings.
  11. Documentation of contacts in CRM, required visit reporting and monthly status reports.

Job Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) required, MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years of Operational experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Franchise Location Owners preferred

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Detail oriented and professional
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel regionally and nationally
