Job Description

SUMMARY FOR BOOKKEEPER INSURANCE:

Our Northwest Suburban Chicago client is in search of a  Bookkeeper, preferably with Insurance Accounting Experience.  This Insurance Organization has been in operation for many years and offers a great work / life balance.


This individual will be responsible for duties to include:

  • Reconciliation of bank statements
  • Journal Entries
  • Cash Flow Analysis
  • Paying commissions to sales staff
  • Reconciling insurance premiums

REQUIREMENTS FOR BOOKKEEPER INSURANCE:

  • 3+ years Accounting Experience, Insurance Accounting Experience a plus
  • Some College or Degree is beneficial
  • Prior Experience with Payroll & Reconciling Bank Statements
  • Familiar with Accounting Software such as:  QuickBooks
