FDM is currently seeking a number of ambitious and driven candidates to work in DevOps as FDM Consultants with our top clients, many of which are leading companies in the banking and financial services industry.

Our award-winning training program prepares you to enter the industry at a high level, trained to our clients’ specific systems and technologies.
Prior to working with our clients, your training will take place at one of FDM’s US centers (metro DC area or New York City) or pop-up locations (Austin, St. Louis, and more). The training equips you with the skills to be a successful DevOps Engineer, covering topics including UNIX, SQL, Java, Jenkins, Docker, Selenium and more.
You become an FDM employee from day one and are paid during the training period before placement onsite with our clients. Travel assistance for relocation may be available depending on location and circumstances.
DevOps Engineers focus on creating solutions using tools and automation to improve operations. DevOps roles can involve a myriad a projects, such as: enhancing and streamlining operational processes though automation and integration; modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance; analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design; and much more.

- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar)
- A strong aptitude in IT and the interest and drive to expand your IT skill set
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Exposure to programming languages and coding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A problem solver with a keen eye for detail
- An analytical approach and problem solving abilities
- Proven ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and time management abilities
- Flexible for national client placements throughout the US
