Job Description

Chementry is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to cover a Territory of NY, NJ and PA! The ideal candidate can be located anywhere in the Territory.

A successful candidate will sell and market company products and services to new and existing accounts. The Business Development Manager will promote company products through personal visits, e-mail, telephone and trade shows.


  • Maintain relationships of existing customers and secure new customer
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and quotes
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products
  • Explain product features and solicit orders
  • Communicate quoted prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
  • Ability to travel 70% to 80% of the time
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of Outside Sales experience in chemical / ingredient / food / nutritional
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory up to 80% of the time
  • Knowledgeable and/or passionate about the Nutrition industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
  • Track record of sales success: ability to discuss documented successes
  • Stable job history
  • Strong communication skills and energetic
