Job Summary

The Management Support Specialist position reports to the Division President but works alongside Regional Manager, Outside and Inside Sales associate.

 

Essential Duties/Accountabilities

  1. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  2. Fills in when a Counter Sales associate or Sales Center Manager is absent

  3. Interact with internal and outside sales people, vendors and contractors

  4. Facilitate large equipment, refrigerant and copper quotes

  5. Daikin and Gree Champion for the Division

  6. Aid Division Management with vendor program management

  7. Consolidation of pricing contracts and multiple Region coverage

  8. Profile management within Division

  9. Assist Division President with Vendor alignment and strategic plan implementation with key Vendors

  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. 

  2. Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred

  3. Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level

  4. Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service

  5. Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service focus absolutely required

  6. Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames

  7. Capable of working in a fast paced environment with skills to multi-task on different levels

  8. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  9. Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with the Company.

     

Licensing and Certifications:  Valid driver license

  4. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  5. The employee may use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.

  6. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
