
Regional Account Manager (South Central US)

Brilex is currently recruiting for a Regional Account Manager in the South Central territories. The position will be responsible for the development of business with current and new customers across the diverse Brilex book of business. This position will report to the President. Position Summary
The Regional Account Manager will be a member of our field sales team and focus on developing business opportunities and relationships with existing / new customers in the areas of heavy fabrication, machining and assembly while also exploring new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be values centric, goal / technically oriented with strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
Develop existing / new business opportunities and inquiries for heavy fabrication, machining and assembly
Continually position Brilex as the supplier of choice for new projects
Gather information for technical and commercial proposals
Follow-up on technical and commercial proposals and respond to customer inquiries
Facilitate customer meetings, plant visits, and data collection with internal support personnel
Track projects through the selling cycle to closure
Achieve territorial sales goals and objectives
Minimum Requirements
BS/BA degree preferred. Combination of education and experience considered
5 years industrial business-to-business sales experience
Ability to read and interpret basic blue prints and engineering drawings
Excellent customer relationship building skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products
Domestic travel required
Self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced environment
Steel industry experience required
