Style Crest, Inc. a manufacturer and distributor of quality products to the residential housing industry has an excellent career opportunity available for a motivated sales person for our Carolina Territory.  This role is responsible for maintaining and upgrading the existing account base as well as identifying prospects and converting these prospects into new customers including 1 & 2 step distributors as well as lumberyards.  The activities of a Territory Sales Manager include (but are not limited to):

  • Calls on customers & prospects in person, on a regular basis, with the purpose of generating sales and developing & maintaining relationships.
  • Develops a strategic plan for growing the territory.  Forecasts sales within the territory and meets or exceeds these goals.  
  • Educates prospects & customers on the value added features and benefits of Style Crest products. 
  • Prepares sales reports and submits expense reports on a timely basis.  Communicates opportunities, successes and concerns to sales management. 
  • Acts as the liaison between the customer and Style Crest.  Follows up and responds timely to customer requests to ensure we provide excellent customer service.
  • Attends trade shows and conventions and represents Style Crest in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualified candidates will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Demonstrated success working in the Exterior Building Products industry with established relationships with lumberyards, 1 & 2 step distributors, builders and contractors.
  • Ability to strategically plan and execute on sales forecasts and business plan goals.
  • Understands market trends and the implications of those trends.
  • Strong computer knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with prior experience using CRM programs.
  • Strong reasoning and decision making skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple issues and details at one time.
  • Excellent selling, presentation and communication skills.
  • Should live in the Raleigh or Goldsboro area. 
  • Must be willing to travel on average 3 nights a week on a regular basis.
