Position Overview:

1-2 years experience in Financial Analyst; Performs and delivers on routine assignments and projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of metrics and financial analysis. The summary responsibilities are the Management & Reporting of the Annuity IT Budget/Expenses, IT Service Delivery Operational Metrics, Analytics & Performance. This position will work with the Annuity Delivery Team and IT Managers across the Organization as well as the IT Finance organizations. 
• Strong teaming and relationship management skills, and experience in working with analytical groups and service delivery organizations
• Strong ability to analyze, develop and then present operational and financial information
• Excellent communication skills (presentation abilities, general oral/written skills) with the ability to work present to both Senior Executive and IT & Business Management audiences
• Strong desktop tools knowledge, including MS Office, advanced Excel skills, experience working with financial and operational data
• Demonstrated leadership skill
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Effective networking skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to deal with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • o Assist in the delivery of the Monthly Annuity IT Financial Management Program:
    o Determine Financial Management Position of Budget to Actual
    o Determine Financial Management Position of Budget to FY Forecast
    o Develop Financial bridge from previous month to current month FY Forecast
    o Identify and analyze Financial Variance drivers budget to forecast
    o Build detail line analysis for variances current month, YTD, and FY forecast
    o Assist in the delivery of the Annual Annuity IT Financial Budget Program which includes both the Operational & Strategic Budgets: 
    o Financial bridge to annual financial targets
    o Work with the Annuity IT Leadership on Annual Labor Plan: FTE, Contractors, & OT
    o Track continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction efforts and incorporate them into annual targets and budget
    o Build annual budget reports and presentations
    o Assist in the monthly delivery of the Annuity IT Operational Metrics & Analytics Package, which includes analysis of the operational functions and delivery for the Annuity IT Business System Analysis, Application Development, Quality Assurance, IT Service Support, and Management Information Reporting
    o Serve as a metrics and analytics consultant in ad hoc requests and strategic projects across Annuity in the analysis and reporting of Annuity IT Service Delivery
    o Assist with the periodic support for Cost-Benefit Analysis, and ad-hoc financial analyses and financial modeling with the Annuity IT Service Delivery Organizations

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
