Job Description


Industrial Equipment Software (IES) is hiring challenge-seeking Manufacturing Integration Technicians. Our techs have a wide range of duties needed to deliver powerful solutions that monitor and optimize CNC machine tool performance for today’s data-driven manufacturers.  IES develops and markets its XMC® line of software products, used by manufacturers around the world to measure, visualize and improve the health and performance of their machine tools and critical automated equipment.   IES enhances its solutions with advanced machine optimization products ranging from adaptive control to sensor analysis.  The ideal tech is eager to learn, deliver, and support our full range of products across aerospace, medical, oil and gas, and many other manufacturing industries.


  • Provide best in class customer service, building solid relationships and supporting products

  • Become proficient in the detailed technical specifications of Caron Engineering products and XMC machine data communications and analytics software

  • Schedule and prepare for upcoming installations

  • Install, load software, configure, test and troubleshoot machine optimization products

  • Train customers on use of new product and systems

  • Document information and complete reports as required

  • Purchase and maintain inventory of products and software

  • Work closely with the team

  • Comply with IES and customer site safety standards

Job Requirements


  • CNC machining and/or CNC macro programming experience preferred

  • A solid background/education in the electrical/mechanical trades or manufacturing

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Strong mathematical ability

  • Metal working skills, comfortable with diagnostic tools and hand/power tools

  • Able to perform wiring, mechanical, and minor installation and modifications

  • Basic understanding of Windows, networking, software installation and hardware

  • Proficient with MS Office apps; basic database or scripting/programming skills a plus

  • Willing and able to travel 50 to 60% of the time

  • Manual and visual dexterity to assemble small parts and products

  • Ability to lift a 70-pound travel kit into and out of an automobile trunk

  • Extended periods of standing at a work station
