Job Description:

Accounting Clerk

Our client near Dallas, TX is searching for an Accounting Clerk to join their rapidly growing accounting team! Rated one of the best companies in the Security and Infrastructure industry, you'll audit invoices, assist the accounting department, research discrepancies, and approve payments. Additionally, you'll work alongside the management team learning to reconcile the general ledger accounts and compile financial reports.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties including copying, filing, data entry and vendor correspondence
  • Process invoices by Matching, Coding and Batching into the accounting system
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable records by pulling aging report and assisting with soft commercial collections, vendor inquiries and billing discrepancies 
  • Verifies financial reports by running performance analysis software program


Junior Accountant
Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • 1 or more years of related professional experience (internship experience will be considered)
  • Background in auditing invoices against purchase orders
  • Proficiency with Excel 
  • Experience with SedonaOffice preferred
