The Sr. Podcast Manager is responsible for crafting and producing compelling thought leadership content for podcasts and social media that builds Medical Sales College brand equity, brand awareness and drives profitable business growth. This position will report to the VP of Marketing and lead the creation, editing and distribution of engaging content across various channels podcast, social media and marketing channels.
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or Advertising
Minimum 3-5 developing engaging content focused on generating brand awareness in the areas of: Podcasts, Blogs and Social Media.
One-two years of podcasting or audio production experience
Experience using video and editing software i.e. Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools etc.
Experience with posting audio, text and graphics to website
Experience with utilizing tracking tools
Strong project management, communication and interpersonal coordination skills
Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid and demanding environment
Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Develop and implement a podcast content strategy with clearly defined goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain a podcast content editorial calendar
Coordinate and assist with scheduling guests for hosts
Produce content from internal and external sources
Produce and edit audio and video content to be tailored for distributions across key podcast and social media channels
Drive listeners across MSC Website, Apple, Spotify, and other channels to podcast library
Manage and grow organic social channels and communities that support our podcasts
Create promotional materials (blog posts, emails, social updates, videos, and design elements) to drive audience growth and brand awareness
Track and monitor the performance of each campaign and optimize for maximum engagement and brand awareness.
Manage content and engagement across multiple social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
