We are looking for a Senior C# Web Application Development Lead to join our team!

Our development team is responsible for designing, developing and delivering intuitive web applications leveraging advanced and cutting edge technologies. We are responsible for the development and delivery of a full suite of products and services used by our internal and external customers. Our applications are considered critical and vital to our continued growth and success, as well as that of our clients.

The individual in this role lead the development team to perform analysis, design, programming, and testing tasks to deliver on strategic projects specific to organizational planning and expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop secure web applications to integrate with our current suite of applications
  • Identify high-level system impacts
  • Provide technical estimates
  • Perform thorough unit testing and some functional testing as needed
  • Support design efforts by following and adhering to the standards set forth by the executive body and devising consistent solutions to maintain the integrity of application architecture
  • Provide innovative ideas and solutions in an ever-changing environment
  • Possess solid communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies

Job Requirements

The ability to lead a successful team

Minimum of 3 years supervising a team of staff

Experience with MVC 4 or higher

ASP.NET & C#.NET

Experience with Object Orientated Design/Programming concepts

Experience with WebForms development

Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 or higher

Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012

Experience with HTML5/JavaScript/CSS/jQuery

Experience with Visual Studios 2013 or higher

Experience in front-end and back-end web development

Proficiency and relevant experience with:

C# 5.0 version or higher

Software Design Principles like SOLID, DRY, KISS and YAGNI

.NET Design patterns (GoF)

ASP.NET WebForms

ASP.NET MVC 4 or higher

Web publish using with Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 or higher.

Database consumption with MS SQL Server 2008 or higher; or Oracle 10 or higher.

HTML5 and CSS

JavaScript ES 6 version or higher

Updated JavaScript frameworks like Jquery, Node.js, Angular, Vue or React.

Visual Studio 2013 or higher

Version control with TFS 2013 or higher

Have a constant positive attitude and be able to take feedback.

Comfortable reading legacy code, reusing existing code and refactor current production code.

Ability to test before formal QA process.

Willing to learn new development and technical topics.

Analytical thinking, self-driven and self-motivated.

Ability to manage time well.

Adaptability to meet changing priority demands in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience:

At least 5 years experience with C# programming

At least 3 years experience in MVC 4 or higher

Ability to debug/troubleshoot code issues.

Attention to detail to examine source code for errors and the ability to fix it accordingly

 

Desired Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of in-depth experience in developing windows applications utilizing .NET technologies, Oracle and MS SQL.

Demonstrated success in the development and delivery of information technology solutions is required.

Proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities is a must.

Knowledge of web security best practices.

Should be a self-starter and be able to work under minimal supervision.

Preferred experience with Progress/Telerik Kendo controls.

Preferred experience with integrating 3rd party controls into web applications.

Preferred experience with Oracle including schema design, stored procedure development and queries.

Preferred experience designing Software as a Service (Saas) applications.

Web UI responsive design using Bootstrap framework.

Implementation of web services with SOAP or REST design.

Service or Micro Service implementation (client and server) using ASP.NET Web API 2

Web application implementation with ASP.NET Core.

Package Managers and Task Tools (npm, bower, grunt, gulp)

Experience working in agile projects using Scrum or Kanban.

Experience implementing web application solutions using IoC containers, ORM and unit testing (front end/ back end) frameworks.

Experience or basic knowledge using TFS for continuous delivery and continuous integration.

MCSD or MVP certification
