The Social Media Content Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the social media marketing strategy and creating content for all social media channels in order to increase brand awareness and drive prospective students. This position will report to the VP of Marketing, create innovative campaigns and track and monitor critical social media KPI’s. This candidate will be enthusiastic about social media and will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest social media marketing trends and potential new strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a social media content marketing strategy with clearly defined goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar
  • Develop and publish relevant, original and highly engaging content across all social media channels.
  • Track and monitor the performance of each campaign and optimize for maximum engagement and brand awareness.
  • Manage content and engagement across multiple social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and You Tube.
  • Develop, analyze, and report on A/B and multivariate tests to optimize campaign and engagement performance.
  • Develop and manage strategies to build positive online reviews and reputation while monitoring and responding to customer requests.
  • Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree with a strong preference for Marketing, Advertising, or Communications major
  • Minimum 3 years social media and digital marketing experience, particularly with, developing engaging content, and generating awareness.
  • Clear understanding and enthusiasm for each social media channel and ability to develop integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media and mobile.
  • Experience with social media tracking or marketing automation tools.
  • Strong project management, communication and interpersonal coordination skills.
  • Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid and demanding environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem solving ability.
  • Proven ability to adapt to change.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Social Media
  • Minimum 1-4 years of experience with Social Media
