The machine learning engineer will be able to deploy machine learning models to production using AWS. The machine learning engineer will be comfortable with accessing data from a variety of sources and transforming it into a usable form.

1. B.S. in Quantitative Field (Computer Science/Math/Engineering/Physics)
2. MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science and 2+ years of experience; 5+ years of experience without MS/Ph.D.
3. AWS Developer Certification, DevOps Engineer, Machine Learning Specialization, Big Data Specialization
4. Advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms and applications
5. General ability in NLP, time-series analysis, computer vision with a specialization in at least one, verified through the use of public repository projects/published papers
6. Ability to implement state-of-the-art algorithms published in technical papers/ability to develop new algorithms
7. Ability to write production code in Python, Java, and Spark
8. Ability to work with Apache and Hadoop and a general ability working with distributed systems
9. Experience developing data pipelines at scale
10. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL
11. Experience with deep learning frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet and bringing deep learning models to production at scale
