Position: Retail Staff Accountant
Clayton Homes, a Berkshire Hathaway company and one of the nation’s leading housing provider, is a vertically integrated housing company that builds, sells, and insures affordable housing.
The Retail Staff Accountant will assist in general ledger accounting functions and reconciliations required for the Retail Group. They will also provide support for presentation of financial materials and other projects as assigned and serve as primary accounting interface for home center locations as assigned.
Required Skills: Good with PC spreadsheets, problem solving, and organizational skills. Must be team minded, self-motivated, flexible, detail oriented, and dependable. Candidate must also possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and management.
Desired Skills: Experience with Sequel Viewpoint, Cognos, and Access a plus. Knowledge of Global Financial Software preferred, but not required.
Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
