EE SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Lead and manage the EE Systems engineering development within an Embedded Controls project in matrix organization. In addition, lead the EE Systems engineering interface between various software and hardware teams.
Key Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Requirements management of work products through the Electrical/Electronics (E/E) System development process.

    • Importing documents into the Document Master List (DML) stored into Requirements Management Tool (RMT).

    • Identify and assign stakeholders for each document/requirement in the DML.

    • Lead Support Monitor completion of requirement capture & analysis activities for the DML, SSS utilizing query & dashboard toolsets in RMT.

    • Building a requirements compliance matrix in PTC Integrity and support program management in the review of the matrix with the customer.

    • Compliance monitoring of process work products through the E/E development cycle from requirements capture through to qualification.

    • Change request impact analysis on the SSS level.



  • Systems Engineering

    • Specify the E/E subsystem architecture using model based methods.

    • Coordinate technical interfaces between E/E hardware and software (HSI).

    • Coordinate functional safety on SSS level and development of the Functional Safety Concept and Technical Safety Concept.

    • Define and agree on technical interfaces related to systems and components.

    • Manage E/E Subsystem integration and test.

    • Align testing with related systems and components.

    • Define and agree technical solution and report status to customers and stakeholders.



  • Coordinate efficient information flow between internal and external teams.

  • Plan and carry out reviews and sign-offs (internal and with suppliers).

  • Meet Timing, Cost, Quality and Performance (Requirements) targets.

  • Lead/Support risk management.

  • Plan & track milestones tied to EE Systems Engineering activities.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Status reporting to customer and stakeholders.



Required Qualifications:


  • 10+ years' experience in Software, ECU Hardware, EE Systems Engineering, Requirements Engineering, etc.

  • Engineering degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with customers and suppliers.

  • Proven communication, teamwork and organizational talents.

  • Hunger for continuous learning, growth and curiosity.

  • Good English language skills (reading & writing).

  • Willingness for occasional business trips.



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Model based system development in UML or SysML

  • Familiarity with front-wheel drive based all-wheel drive systems.

  • Exposure to ASPICE, INCOSE or similar Systems Engineering process framework.

  • Experience with requirements engineering tools such as DOORS, PTC Integrity, etc

  • Knowledge in automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and Automotive Spice.

  • Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools such as PTC Integrity.
