Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer for a new role based out of Chantilly, VA. For this position we are looking for an engineer with hands-on AWS/Terraform/CloudFormation experience who can come and hit the ground running from day one to develop and support Mission Critical applications in support of the Intelligence Community.

What you'll do:

• Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications.
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
• Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph required.
• 4+ years hands on AWS experience (tools such as SNS/SQS, Lambda, VPC, S3, etc.).
• Familiarity automating AWS infrastructure (Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications
• Working knowledge of SecDevOps
• Hands on CI/CD experience

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
