Job Responsibilities:
- Perform interviews with process and business owners at all levels and across the company to gather information, ascertain key risks, areas of concerns, and the expected internal control that should be in place.
- Independently assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the business areas processes, policies or controls.
- Identify gaps/opportunities/key risks and develop corrective actions to address gaps or assess adequacy of solutions deployed.
- Perform comprehensive analysis of information prompted through interviews and document review by demonstrating professional skepticism and appropriate follow-up.
- Present and confirm findings/issues and the related corrective action to various levels of process/business owners.
- Execution of cybersecurity program or environment assessment against industry standards frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, etc.
- Provide subject matter expertise on client's Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance processes
- Identify cybersecurity program gaps or risks & develop recommendations to remediate.
- Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in information security, cyber risk management, compliance, IT audit, or similar capacities
- Experience conducting Business Impact Assessments
- Experience working with Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Experience testing and deploying Third Party Risk Management frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Strong knowledge of IT General Control design and test execution
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks is required: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOX
- Experience in writing precise and auditable cybersecurity policies, control objectives and procedural documentation
- Experience in developing audit or assessment reports & prioritized roadmaps
- Communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders and attention to detail
- Experience managing competing priorities and simultaneous/concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
