Job Description

You will build a scalable, data-driven software system that acquires data from a variety of medical devices, and distributes that data to hospital applications using a variety of communication protocols. Accuracy, timeliness and performance are of highest concern. You will develop Windows applications in C++ and C# where Interfaces to Draeger and 3rd party applications play an important role. Eagerness to grow, actively learn, and apply yourself to new challenges and all matters of product development and support.

-Build great products.
-Work within a cross functional scrum team to produce high quality deliverables during the design, implementation, integration, test and support phases of product development.
-Engage in open communication across teams, sites and organizational boundaries.
-Comply with all internal SOPs and FDA and industry regulations.
-Utilize the software configuration management system to correctly maintain SW files.
-Build and install SW in a development and product environment.
-Support clinical engineers, quality engineers, service engineers and test personnel by executing tests, reproducing defects, documenting defect analysis in defect tracking tool.
-Take direction from senior engineering staff, seek out advice as needed, respond to coaching, analyze successes and failures in order to improve, take on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
-Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Job Requirements

-BS Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required.
-8 - 10 years related experience in C++, C# and Windows development.

Experience in these Frameworks and Technologies is a plus:
-Basic understanding of agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, TDD, Git)
-HL7 2.x
-InstallShield 2014
-Visual Studio 201
-Visual Studio 2013
-Git/Jira/ BitBucket
-Clearcase/Clearquest/ Collaborator [VF7.2 and earlier]
-SQL Server 2008 R2
-Visual Studio 2017
-SQL Server 2016
