Sales Compensation Manager

JOB SUMMARY
In this role you%26rsquo;ll be responsible for managing the I/S Sales Compensation team, which supports the applications and systems that determine pay for Medline%26rsquo;s sales force. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales compensation, working with 3rd party vendors, working closely with business partners, and leading teams of developers to build and support sales compensation applications.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
%26bull; Manages sales compensation technology initiatives either directly or in partnership with the PMO.
%26bull; Collaborates with business partners, 3rd party vendors, and his/her team to ensure requirements are documented and appropriately translated into technical specifications and work products.
%26bull; Works closely with partners across I/S such as architecture, BI, and other application teams to ensure integrations with other systems meet standards and expectations.
%26bull; Manages current team resources and plans for future staffing and technology needs.
%26bull; Coaches and mentors team members to accomplish the team%26rsquo;s objectives.
%26bull; Maintains team culture and develops team members to achieve future career goals.
%26bull; Ensures high availability of sales compensation systems.
%26bull; Establishes support SLA%26rsquo;s for sales compensation systems and applications.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
%26bull; A minimum Bachelor%26rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Work Experience
%26bull; 5+ years previous work experience in IT, sales compensation, or finance roles. Other relevant work experience will be considered.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
%26bull; Knowledge of incentive planning and sales compensation systems
%26bull; Experience building SQL data marts with both transactional and master data
%26bull; Experience with .Net software applications
%26bull; Experience with unit, regression, performance, and E2E application testing
%26bull; Significant partner management experience at various levels of the organization (individual contributor, manager, director, and senior leadership levels)
%26bull; Demonstrated proficiency for working in fast paced work environments in a matrixed organization
%26bull; Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
%26bull; Demonstrated proficiency for complex problem solving
%26bull; Experience collaborating with both offshore and external resources
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

%26bull; Experience in a business intelligence or analytics function with an emphasis on data modeling
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
%26bull; Experience working with 3rd party vendors and implementation partners
%26bull; Experience with Angular web applications
%26bull; Experience building applications in
%26bull; Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
