The Senior Manager of Rebate P&L Pharma Strategy role is a highly visible opportunity in our Rebate P&L Strategy team, responsible for driving strategies to advance rebate performance and profitability for both clients and the PBM organization. As the prescription drug landscape changes with new high-cost therapies, increasing pressure to reduce pharmaceutical costs and the evolving policy landscape, the right person for this role is a highly motivated, forward-thinker who can identify opportunities and leverage matrix partners to develop innovative strategies effectively and efficiently. You will use your abilities to deliver actionable insights to Rebate P&L Strategy Leadership and the broader Trade organization. Your responsibilities will include evaluation of strategies to optimize rebate value in response to pharmaceutical market events. You will collaborate with other PBM functional areas to assess various trade and formulary strategy initiatives, with the goal of improving rebate management.Additional responsibilities will be to: - Design, develop, and deliver analytic solutions to inform rebate strategies and evaluate opportunities that will improve rebate and net cost performance- Understand and manage rebate impacts of formulary strategies, pharma contract changes, public policy changes, and other market events - Assess pharmaceutical industry trends to determine potential implications on future rebate value, including financial scenario modeling for multi-year strategic planning- Collaborate with Trade Relations, Formulary Strategy, and Trade Finance teams to investigate opportunities to optimize rebate value and/or drive lowest net cost for clientsTo be successful, you should possess:- Expertise in querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets- Experience working in past-faced matrix environments requiring management of multiple priorities- Experience developing analyses and presentations to explain business issues and/or recommend strategies- Strong problem solving, analytical, oral and written communication skills- Ability to effectively engage with internal stakeholders of varying backgrounds, demonstrating deep analytical understanding in a consumable way**Will consider 100% remote from anywhere in the US. Residence within a commutable distance to one of the following offices is preferred:RI - WoonsocketIL - ChicagoMN - Bloomington

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 75,400

Maximum: 162,700

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in healthcare, finance, or analytics- Advanced capabilities using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word- Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Excel-based modeling

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in managed care which may include PBM, health plans, pharmaceutical market access, or with a focus on financial strategy- 5+ years experience with prescription drug rebates, prescription drug spend, formulary strategies, pharmacy benefit management, and/or pharmaceutical pricing strategy& market access- Knowledge of pharmaceutical government pricing (AMP, Best Price, ASP, 340B)- Knowledge of the evolving pharmaceutical regulatory environment- Experience manipulating and analyzing data from large databases using SAS, SQL or other appropriate software

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare, business, or related field required; or equivalent experience• MBA or Master's Degree preferred
